GQ

Dear Blogger Word Verification,

Thanks. If it weren't for you I would never have known that I can't tell the difference between 'g' and 'q' when they're not tucked nicely in a recongnizable word.

Sincerely,
Zube Girl

I got one last week that there was no way I was going to be able to tell what it was. Part of it could have been:
mm or nnnn or mnn or nnm or nmn

I didn't get it right.

It took me three times yesterday to post a comment. Damn word verification! Of course, I use it too... because I started getting all of these whacked out spam comments. ;o(

Rocky Jay- See, it took me a few minutes to realize that you were using 'q' for 'g'. I've got a mental block. Too bad that's not the only one.

Barbara- I've had those, too! Sometimes I just keep hitting submit until I get one I like.

Phil- Th3n y0u hav3 pr0bl3m5. 50rry.

Amy- I know, I've been tempted to get it, but I just delete like a maniac. Except for the spam messages that talk about herpes dating. They're too funny to delete and people like Bonanza make funny comments about 'em.

I was rather partial to the herpes dating one, myself;)

I have that same problem. All the time. And all this time I was thinking I was fairly literate... :)

I screw them up all the time. 5 & S, L & I

I have one because i was getting comment spam and I have a hard time seeing that one too.

Oooh, I too hate the confusion word verification gives me. My nemesis is the W, which I'm never sure if it's V V or a W. The L and I mixed me up as well, until I realized that all the word verification letters are lower case, so if it looks like this: l... it must be an L. :) As for G and Q, we're just fucked.

Justdawn- That was a good one, wasn't it? :-)

Bonanza- See, I just blame it on the fact that I have been forced to identify letters outside of words since 2nd grade. Maybe I need to get some flashcards and practice with Zube Boy.

Miss Ann Thrope- I understand having them, it would just be cool if they were actual words. Your letters don't look too wonky though, and sometimes Blogger's do.

Librarian- YES! I get confused with l, too. And w. It often takes me three attempts to get it right. Eh well.

It's sort of like looking at words when you're drunk.

hey Zube... long time no... uh... comment! Heh heh
I've missed you guys... but I'm baaaaaack.

Junebee, if it's like looking at words when you're drunk, then if Zube looked at the word verification while drunk off her ass, would she see the correct letters? I think it's worth experimenting with. :)

Those suckers are a doozy after a few glasses (bottles?) of wine :-) BTW - love the blog. You're hilarious.

T~ I'm glad to know that I'm not alone!

Junebee- Exactly. It is.

Peg- Ditto. Long time no comment. :-) You've been hanging out with Brad again, haven't you? ;-)

Phil- Ah, now that would be worthy of a thesis. Damn. Maybe I could've graduated from college.

Mickity- Hey, thanks. :-)

Madbull- Ah, a tag. Thanks Madbull.
