Sunday, Fucking Sunday...

Or, it would be fitting to not have even changed the lyrics at all.

I'm spotting again. And again it is only a tiny bit. And it's brown. And I know that last time it was nothing. But still. I'm scared.

And the thing that really bothers me is WHY, WHY, WHY do my spotting episodes have to happen on Sundays? When I can't call the office for a little reassurance. My only option would be to go to the ER. And this is SO not an ER amount of blood. It's hardly even enough blood to warrant a paranoid patient call to the office, I don't think. But, you know, it's blood.

Up until now, things have been great. So great, I was afraid to tell you about them. Zube Boy and I have fleeting moments of, "Huh, could we really be on our way to having a baby this time?"

Ah well. We'll see what happens. I'm chillin' like a villain. Or like the laziest person you've ever seen. Take your pick. Though being parked on the couch for as long as I have does seem a little villainous. So it could be a little of both.

If it continues, I'm going to call the doctor tomorrow to see if they can get me in this week instead of next. But if it stops, which it may have already, I'll probably hang tight, crossing my legs among other things, until my scheduled appointment.

Praying for you and little Odd. It is probably nothing to worry about, right?

When I spotted, the doctor made me stay on the couch, sleep and take it all easy. All of which I'm sure you are doing. Something about things starting to grow and stretch, making little vessels (for a lack of a better word, my husband's the doctor, not me) pop and bleed some.

Odd, listen to to me, the Person You Have Never Met: You stay tight. You move when you are supposed to and not a second sooner. There's a lot of ice cream and trips to the circus and a whole bunch of stuff you need to check out.

Plus, it seesm you have an ultra-hip and cool momma, too.

Zube, my deepest and sincerest apologies! I have been terribly remiss in my sending of good vibes lately. But no worries now, as I'm back on the case, and the good stuff is heading your way as I type this. So just kick back, relax, keep learning how to knit baby socks and reading up on how to clean baby puke out of various materials.

You definitely need to be doing those kind of tension inducing things on a weekday.

I definitely second hotdrwife's sentiments for Odd though.

Sundays (especially Sunday evenings) seem to be out to get a lot of people. It's almost as if the universe hates the idea of a good weekend.

Deep breaths. Think zen, count to ten, and do it again. I'm saying prayers for you. Waiting for an update.

This happened to me with my daughter. My dr said it was remnants of whatever was causing the spotting the last time. Sometimes you just have a little "pocket" that finally "pops", if you will, and then you have a little spotting. Not to worry...you are fine!

I think you and hubby need to start planning for a baby! This one's gonna stick!
