Kind of like a party being busted by the cops...but the complete opposite.

Hey! Its PaintingChef, I've hacked Zube's blog so don't tell her because she would probably beat me up. Well, you know, except for the part where she sort of told me to post this.

So. Update on the Turtle...

Zube had a doctors appointment and an ultrasound and first thing first, the baby looks great. Everything is fine, it is measuring just right and hosting quite the kegger up in Zube's inner sanctum. The fetal football team are all congregating around the bar doing flaming shots while ogling the chicks and there are a couple of drunk sorority fetuses (fetii?) passed out in one corner but nobody is paying them any attention because those bitches can't hold their liquor anyway. Although I do think that someone drew a moustache on one of them

The not so great news, however, is that the party is quite full and threatening to be busted by the cops a little earlier than expected so Zube is having to have a small procedure called a cerclage to make sure everyone stays all tucked up in the house until the party has run its course.

So Zube and family are living it up at the hospital for a night while things get all squared away. She wanted me to let you all know what was going. And now I have.

Wishing you the best, Zube. The cerclage sounds like a good idea for you. It is good that they can anticipate future problems and do something about them. Little Odd will be fine I am sure.

Thanks for the update. Coincidentally, I just read about that procedure.

Take it easy! Wishing you, ZB, and Turtle the best!

Well, hopefully Turtle's neighbors won't be party poopers by calling the cops. Good to hear things are progressing fairly well and that Turtle loves his current digs & apparently has no intention of leaving early. Give the Zubes my best.

Thanks so much for the update. I've heard great things about that procedure and will think the VERY best thoughts for the Zube family.

SO glad to hear that things are going okay. One of my favorite coworkers had a baby recently after a cerclage. Her first pregnancy resulted in her son being born 4 months premature because her cervix just opened up and let him out. This time, things went well. She got to take 6 months off work and be on bedrest, which I know for a fact she didn't do. Aside from some minor pain, she said she'd do it again (including the cerclage) right away if the doctors would let her. :) They're making her wait at least two years.

Good luck with the continued incubation success! Thanks, PC, for keeping all of us updated!

That's it. I'm turning in my Hooha. There's way too much weird stuff that can happen to it. There were like, 5 things in that article that made little exclaimation points come out of my head. It's not like I use it anyway.

I hope that the cerclage keeps Little Odd in there until it is time:)

Keep your feet up and your head down and take care of yourselves!

Warm thoughts and good vibes sent from Germany!

In case any of you read comments, I'm trying to fucking update my blog and I can't. Something to do with it not allowing me to log into old blogger, but also not allowing me to convert to new blogger.

I have updates. Things are not looking so rosy here, but they're not necessarily dire either. Just really, really fucking scary. If you'd like, please send me your e-mail by e-mailing me using the little linky-poo over on the right and I'll start sending out e-mail updates on Zube Boy, the Turtle, and I.

I'm on bedrest and have lots of time to sit around trying to figure out this fucking blogger mess, but you might say that I'm not really in the mood.

Huh...I wonder if it still thinks that I am you. I'll go back this afternoon and make sure I'm logged out. I mean, I don't THINK that would be it but maybe?

Also? email me!

Also again? Thinking of you!!
