Oh How I Wish...

...I worked at the hardware store.

Z-Boy: I have to pick up some plumbing stuff for the new house.

Z-Girl: Okay. I'll go, uh, look at the hammocks I wish I had somewhere to put...or something...

***A few minutes later and Zube Boy is checking out some black plumbing pipes***

Z-Girl: Honey, is that where the poo is gonna go?

Z-Boy: No honey. That's where the curlies will go.

Z-Girl: What?!

Z-Boy: It's for the tub, not the toilet.

Z-Girl: Oh, okay.

This conversation would be inconsequential if it weren't for the hardware store employee rounding the corner and looking at us all funny-like at the very end.

Zoey is BACK!!! Thank you ALL for wondering and wishing and cajoling her home. I can't even begin to tell you how devastated I was when she disappeared. I don't HAVE babies, you see, so she IS one of the only babies I know. That was the longest she's ever been gone. And I'm so glad she's home. I never thought I'd strain my lips kissing a cat. I'm kind of a loser. Heh.

I am SO glad that your sweet kitty came home!

And ROFL at you and Z-Boy! I went shopping with two friends the other day, and the woman bagging our groceries got an earful of our boobie conversation:)

Great to hear 'bout the kitty!! I had an indoor cat under the porch for several days, but she "let" me catch her when she got hungry enough.

Now I have to deal with the fleas. Be sure to check for that.

*YAY* I am so happy Zoey came back home- she must have needed a kitty vaction or someone held your sweet kitty hostage and she finally figured out an excape route to come home! Also best of luck with the home it is mine and D's ultimate dream to move to colorado and ply in the mud one day.

Oh, huge mistake there making a fuss over Zoey's return. Now that she knows how much you missed her, she'll use that to get everything she wants from now on. She now knows that if you don't feed her the super expensive gourmet cat food, or get mad at her for scratching the furniture, or don't otherwise cater to her every whim, she'll just threaten to walk out and leave you in a state of panic again. Cats are evilly manipulative like that.

P.S. I am actually glad she's back, though.

Glad to hear she's back. Losing a pet is scarey. I thought we lost our cat once and the stinker was holed up in a corner in the basement sleeping...little bugger.

So was Zoey any worse for the wear? Welcome back, little kitty! Now don't do that again. Ever.

It would be hilarious to go shopping for anything with you and Zubeboy. You guys make even the hardware store fun.

Yay that Zoey is back!

But, um, why don't you put your curlies on the shower wall too? You shouldn't discriminate against hair length when it comes to shower wall art. They would make good fart lines coming out of your animal and people hairglyphs.

Or, um, maybe you're more mature than me.

Not that I do that. I hate curlies.
