Good News

Sort of. Or at least I should appreciate that it is good news and stop being so consumed with the negative shit. That's difficult, to say the least.

We have a yolk sac, a fetal pole, and a heart flutter. In laymen's terms, the important shit is there and fits the timeline. The heart flutter is a little slow, but the doctor said it is still very early and it is possible it will speed up.

I go back next Monday.

I don't really know what to say. I'm kind of afraid to say anything.

Odd? Would ya speed it up with the heartbeat? Pretty please?

That is wonderful!

Glad to see that your dr will see you next week.

Honey, it's human after what you've been through to think about the negative.

It's up to US to focus on the positive, and that's exactly what I plan to do.

Yahoo for the heartbeat and the other things I don't understand (we were never told that stuff when I was pregnant- you know, in the caveman era).

I'm glad you got to see such great things, Zube!

Woohoo!!!

A slightly slow heart beat just means Odd isn't very exciteable. He/she is just kickin' it, chillin' in the womb, with no worries. :)

Very happy that things are progressing well, Zube!

Wonderful news. A blessing. I can't tell you what to do, because if it were me, I'd be laying in bed, counting the seconds til the second trimester.

Long time reader first time commenter...first of all thanks for sharing your life experiences with us, the good, the bad and the ugly. *smile* I dont recall anyone mentioning this previously, but you may want to read up on toxoplasmosis. Hope this gives you some information you can use. Good luck with the progression of your pregnancy.

Get your rest. Do everything the doctor tells you.

I never thought I'd be happy to hear someone use the words "yolk sack" and "fetal pole" at the same time.

I'm still praying for ya, Zube.

That's such brilliant news Zube, throwing up and yolk sacs... I really think Odd wants to stick around. We are all still sending you all the good vibes and prayers etc that we can. It must be hard for you to not get consumed by the negtive shit, but we are all very very positive!

Zube-

Glad things have taken a turn for the better for you both. With as much turmoil as you have had getting pregnant, you deserve to take it easy and definately get enough rest. I find now that I am pregnant, I could sleep 12 hours a day and not be phased at all. It's crazy.

Good luck on continued good health!

I'm hoping you get a new little zubster at the end of this experience. Just hang in there and know we are all wishing you well. :)

Ummm, fetal pole? Is that what Odd dances around?

If your kid grows up to be a stripper, I'm going to feel pretty lousy about this comment. :)

You WILL feel like a shit BJ. But we'll still be laughing about it then...

Also? Yay. Good news.

Got the whole lot crossed for you honey. You've started, phew, just take care of yourself, you do realise that you are on a 'no housework' agenda from now on. THAT'S AN ORDER. Stay safe

Sending positive thoughts your way. I've been reading and crossing my fingers for you. :)

Like others said above, would you expect a "Zube-let" to be anything but calm and chillin'? Nope!

This is all good news. Keep puking, thinking happy thoughts!

Damn, Zube. This is the most heart-on-your-sleeve blogging I think I've ever read.

Best.

I don't know what a fetal pole is, but you are in my thoughts.
