I Could Just Die...Or Puke...You Never Can Tell...

But the cuteness overload is, at least to me, almost too much to bear...

I like to call this masterpiece The Odd Turtle.

Heartrate - 180 beats per minute

I'm measuring 11 weeks.

Holy shit, you guys. I might just be excited.

I do want to say that I know some of my dear readers may be a tad OVER it with the pregnancy talk and hoping each day that maybe, just maybe, I'll post something about yelling at police officers or pant shrinking gnomes, but I'm simply consumed with this subject. And since, in real life, I curb the pregnancy talk, it sort of oozes out of me here.

Somebody'll piss me off soon, I'm sure. 'Cause let me tell you, these hormones? Are sure to fill a woman with a little piss and vinegar.

I mean, those clueless assholes who were strutting down the center of the parking lot to get to their car while I idled behind them have NO idea how close they came to being my newly acquired bumper decor. Truly.

Nope, not looking for any piss and vinegar, though I like that too. Just stopped in anxiously to make sure you and the little odd turtle are doing okay. Be excited! This is exciting! Yay!

Girl, I couldn't possibly be happier for you, so daily, if not hourly updates about the pregnancy and your feelings are totally invited.

The Odd Turtle is adorable. Yet another turtle that Zube Boy helped create and you can scare him with. :) TURTLE POWER!

I can't wait to hear how Zube Girl experiences pregnancy! I'm sure it will be full of the wit and humor you find in every aspect of your life! I don't really know you, but I read your blog and I'm SO happy for you!If you think pregnancy is funny...wait till "Turtle" is a toddler!

That picture is incredible!! I'm definitely not over the pregnancy posts, and am really looking forward to hearing more about OddTurtle as he/she gets bigger and bigger, and then finally... gets a blog of his/her own! So, so, so many congratulations to you Zube, and to Zube boy of course.

HO. LY. SHIT. That? Is a real live baby. In your belly. You have a baby in there. And its CUTE! And you didn't even TELL me that you had this great picture! And I forgot to ask!

You know...if it were just flipping you off... now THAT would be hysterical.

Forget the other topics - I expect to hear about the pregnancy!! This is so stinking exciting.

Zube, you just keep posting about the pregnancy as much as you like. We won't ever be "over" it. Well, until the kid is born. After that, if this turns into a mommy blog, I'm outta here. Sorry ;)

But you might want to stop consuming the piss & vinegar . . . looks like Odd is already plugging his/her nose at the smell.

Let it ooze. Pregnancies and Weddings - the two things all women are allowed to obsess about. :-)

I've been thinking of you nearly every day, though I don't read blogs as much as I used to.

This is wonderful news.

Trust me, those hormones will explode, then heaven help the slow ass who is taking their sweet time walking down the center of the parking aisle.

I know I've been away for some time, but I've come by often to check on you and just had to say I am so freakin' excited for you right now, I'm fixin' to burst!!!! My grandbaby is due 2/18, and we just found out it's a girl.....and by the looks of Lil' Zubie's heart rate...looks like you may be getting yourself a girl ...OMG...could we handle another Zube Girl...hell yeah!!!!!

Anonymous said...

Well Zube Girl, the baby talk only gets worse. No matter how hard you try to contain it, you end up being one of those dreaded parents who always talk about their kids. My daughter is 10 months old, and from the time I found out I was pregnant, I was consumed by all things baby. Enjoy it!

Sorry I'm late on this, I've been out of town. I read your post on Bloglines, then came ovr to see the pic and I GASPED! You have a BABY there! Not just a heartbeat. I'd be all consumed too if I were you. I can't help grinning at how far you've come.

Definitely, you should talk more about gnomes. We all should. The crazy scandinavians just love gnomes. And everyone knows that those crazy scandinavians must know a thing or to about cool stuff. Just look at them, all cool and blond. So yes, more gnomes, definitely.

But since we are talking about baby, I really must say congratulations. I am so proud and happy for you both. It has been a long road.
