From Behind

Ring-Ring

Nate: Hello.

Z-Girl: Hey, are you behind me?

Nate: Only in your wildest dreams.

Z-Girl: Heh. No, seriously. There's this guy behind me in a red truck with sunglasses that look like yours, and he's following me really close, so I thought maybe it was you.

Nate: Nope, I'm at work digging a hole.

Z-Girl: Okay, well then that fucker needs to quit riding my ass. Later.

Nate: Bye.

eh.. I hate it when people crawl up my butt in traffic. It's as if they think they can intimidate me. Little do they know, you can't intimidate someone who dates a trucker...

Just the occasion for that bumper sticker that says "Women are leaders. You're following one."

I like to give my brakes a good tap or two when someone is right on me. Usually gets them to back right off. Or if I'm not in a hurry, I'll slow down about 10 mph less than the speed limit and just watch the rage envelope their face. Heh heh heh :)

Remember when we didn't have cell phones?

I once thought (and quickly changed my mind) that everyone should have their cell # as their license plate. Imagine that?

Storm- I wouldn't even *attempt* to intimidate someone who dates a trucker!

Junebee- Aside from the fact the I *heart* you, I want such a sticker. Fucking perfect! :-)

Chickie- Oh, I certainly did such a thing. Yup, I did. Pissed them off mightily, but fuck 'em.

Cassiopeia- Okay, that could totally backfire on my ass. But, seriously, I'm a good driver! I think.

"...A big red truck with sunglasses..."? Man, I wish I'd seen that.

Kyknoord- HA! Well, my writing snobbery just flew right out the window! I'm tempted to edit it. :-)

I hate tailgaters. I've done all of those things, slowing down, tapping the breaks and such. Here in So. Calif. drivers are getting shot on the freeways with some regularity, so now when I see someone driving aggressively I just get out of their way. Friggin' idiots.

Anduin- I do, too. I swerve over to the side of the road, all over-exaggerated and let them pass. It's just not worth raising my blood pressure for longer than necessary.
