I sent Zube Boy a text message today:
Honey, would you be sad if an icicle fell on my head and I died?
His response:
After I was done laughing...

13 Leg Humps:
Well, you ARE the one who was talking about using an icicle as a murder weapon.
Hasn't it warmed up yet up there in the mountains?
Man. I sure do love San Diego. I haven't seen an icicle in years. yup. years. I don't worry about them falling on my head. I get to choose to see icicles. by the way, I could be wearing shorts right now if it wasn't against the dress code. Yeah, and the air condiditoner is on too. (actually, I don't understand that part) doyou hate me yet?
There is a hotel in downtown here in the city I live that has signs that say watch for falling ice. Your little question would be so POSSIBLE there!
I just can't stop laughing...
Please, kill me now...
Minerva
Oh puleeeeeze. Like your head would come out on the losing end of that battle . . . ;)
And they wonder why we pick on them so much...
I hope you kicked him.
A couple years ago some man from Wisconsin was shopping in downtown Chicago and a large icicle fell from one of the tall buildings and killed him. My reaction was...
...GASP!!!!...OMG!!!...
...HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Cheesehead on ice!
Now, every single damn winter it's all over the news again, that because of civil suits, owners of tall buildings are having to take care of their icicles lest they kill another cheesehead. Nice way to be remembered, eh?
I think that could only happen to a man anyway. We women are so hot that the icicle would melt and do no harm. You're save, my dear.
It would be funny to me if it happened to a random stranger...but only a little. (Is there a socially acceptable amount of hilarity one can find in such a situation???)
Oh, who am I kidding, I am not at *all* worried about social norms...I would laugh. But not if it happened to you.
I am with Bonanza...I hope you kicked him;)
What a wicked sick sense of humour we can sometimes have!! Dontcha just love it! And at least he's honest - mmphh
I love Zube Boy. He makes me laugh sooooo much! Sorry Zube Girl! LOL
Ahhh...young love...
teehee...
Zube Boy should start a blog. He is a riot!
Mother Goosemouse- Today it warmed up to 17! I felt like grabbing my bathing suit and a daquiri!
Ginamonster- Okay, I'm SO jealous of you right now!
Terri~ I'm serious about being worried about it once in a while. I'll be sitting at my desk, and hear a HUGE icicle fall from our four story building. It could happen. I'm just sayin.
Minerva- Ah, he kills me, too. That's what I get for being needy for a minute.
Phil- Heh. You have a point there.
Bonanza- Oh absolutely!
Librarian- That's right, baby! That sucker would catch fire upon approach. :-)
Justdawn- I think it would be hard not to at least CHUCKLE a little bit. If you didn't know the person anyway.
Banquo- Yeah. I can't figure out if he's wickedly humored, or wicked. Heh.
Painting Chef- Ah, 'tis sweet, eh?
King Leo- He should. He needs a place to defend himself when I'm being a bitch!
