I'm at a Loss...

For words.

I've been afraid to tell you that. Or couldn't figure out how exactly to tell you. Words used to be my best friends, but now they're, well, letting me down. I can't find the right ones or the right ones can't find me. And that sort of sucks.

I'm not too sad or too happy or too busy. I'm just...hmmm...too trying not to be introspective. Have you ever felt like if you stopped and thought about things, you just might cry? For a really long time? Because it's all too much?

I didn't really want to say anything, because I hate to be anything but the 'little engine that could' but, I just...I'm off track. And I've got every engineer on my payroll working to get me on course again. It's just taking some time. Because that's how I roll.

I'm alive. And I'm okay. But I'm hibernating a tiny bit. Some call it self-preservation. I call it...indescribable. Or, the failure of words. Eether, Eyether.

I hope I haven't worried you, and I hope this post doesn't make you all, "OH, POOR ZUBE!" That's not what I'm looking for. At all. I just had to say...something. However unfunny, unprofound, and un-Zube like it is.

At least you said somthin- I was wondering if the new renter dude ate you and Zube boy? But I understand take time and promise the engineers a bonus if they do their jobs.

well I'm glad you did say something because well... we worry. Take all the time you need. Hibernation can be good for the soul.

You deserve as long a break as you want. You have supplied your readers with way more than your share of great posts. You are about as good as it gets.

The thing about all engines, even the Little Engine that Could, is that every now and again they need to be taken off-line, have the fluids flushed & changed, and get a little maintenance done. Pushing too hard for too long will only result in the boiler exploding. And trust me, that's a very, very bad thing.

Take your time finding your words. And seriously, if you need to take some time off to think about things and cry, then do it. Better to let it out when you have the opportunity, than keep it bottled up inside and have it blow up when it's most inconvenient.

Thanks for letting us know that you're alive, though. :)

Ya know, it's aweful nice of you to drop in and let everyone know what's going on, because I? Tend to just drop off the face of the planet when I need a bit of down time. The bad thing is, I don't just do that online...

So take your time, let the stars realign, kiss your husband, all that good stuff.

In the meantime, hope your b-d was great, and, um, happy Tuesday.

OH, POOR ZUBE. Oops. Did I type that out loud? Seriously ZG, just let it flow. If you don't feel like writing, don't write. The words (and your fans) will be here when you get back. Promise.

(((Zube))) take all the time you need, sweetie...and if you need anything, you know where to find me:)

One thing I've learned is that if you try to be 'happy' to please other people, it ends up making things a million times worse.

So, thank you for not doing that.

I'm sending my thoughts your way, sweetheart. You just take care of yourself, OK?

it happens to the best of us. almost every blog I read says this. I've been there myself (remember me from sarcastickitty?).

Just know it's fine to take a hiatus for real life.

Thinking of you!

We all need to take a breather every now and then.

Well, I certainly hope that your hiberation results in lots of sparkly pink flowers down the road. For the time being, just take care.

There's nothing wrong with "not saying" stuff, as long as you say "hello" once in a while! I just hope that the lack of words isn't bothering YOU.

Let it out woman. The more you do now, the better you will feel, even though it sucks but I am here for you. Maybe we need a good cry over a bottle of vino? If you don't go 4wheeling with them on Sat, let's do it!
Um, maybe I should just email you this?

Yeah, well, I was all like:

WHY THE FUCK IS ZUBE RUINING MY LIFE!?!?!

And shit like that.

Nah. Dudeness... as rockin' as it is, it's a blog. No great shakes if life takes precedent, right?

Rock on, sister.
